Within the maintenance of sports fields and golf courses, efficiency is becoming increasingly important. “The investment is one thing, but the time and labour savings are priceless”, Hermans continues. “People have more time left for other tasks, while the overall quality of maintenance also improves.”

For clubs that prefer not to collect grass clippings, the machines offer another important advantage. Thanks to an integrated counter blade, the grass is finely shredded. With regular mowing, this results in a clean and tidy finish without the need for additional collection work. “In fact, these machines only stop working when there’s snow,” Hermans says with a smile. “That says everything about how multifunctional they have become.”

Although Peruzzo has existed for more than 65 years, the manufacturer continues to invest in technical improvements according to Herco Machinery. A recent example is a new deflector that further optimises suction power during scarifying. Within this sector, efficiency, flexibility and time savings are becoming increasingly important.
