The company is looking for new expansion territory in Flanders. The acquisition of Global Rent fits with Huurland's ambition to become a leading full-service provider for all material needs on the construction site within Belgium.
Pascal Ameloot, CEO and one of the three managers of Huurland: "Global Rent has the same family structure and values. We offer our clients excellent rental solutions in construction, renovation, installation, finishing, construction and maintenance; which contribute to proud craftsmanship. They do the same. Global Rent, mainly active in the region of Mechelen, Leuven and the east side of Brussels is a well-known name within the rental world. Choosing Global Rent was choosing a solid company, with extensive customer base and an existing market share."
Manfred Verbeke, the owner of Global Rent, is also excited about this acquisition. "We have known Huurland for a long time as reliable colleagues. We were looking out for potential acquirers who were on the same page. Together with the entire team here, we are putting our shoulders to the wheel to make this acquisition a success story. Our customers need not worry: they can continue to count on their familiar team, the same approach and quality service they have come to expect from us."
The acquisition fits perfectly into Huurland's growth strategy. Meanwhile, the company is building a new headquarters in the De Prijkels industrial zone in Nazareth/Deinze. In addition to the new headquarters with its central services, this location also houses a training center and a brand new specialization branch for large equipment. Pascal Ameloot: "Our ambition is to become a leading rental company in Flanders. We do this through our four commitments: reliable equipment, high availability, good advice and punctual agreements. Global Rent stands for the same values, like us they also combine these with a family character and personal approach to customers. That is why this is a perfect match. Together we continue to build on our story."
