Jo Beau was founded in 1989 by Bruges resident Jozef Beauprez and is known for its compact and professional garden machinery. The company grew into a true innovator in the field of mobile shredders, stump tillers and scarifiers. Jo Beau has the products, experience and know-how to match the functional needs of any project, regardless of the required capacity.
Today, Jo Beau is a second-generation family business, headed by youngest son Christophe Beauprez. Over the years, the Bruges-based company has earned its stripes as a founder in the world of compact mobile shredders, stump tillers and scarifiers. It has always applied the same philosophy to its entire range, almost every model of which can be personalized with various options tailored to the user. The garden machines are designed entirely according to ease of use: their compactness makes them easy to use even in highly urbanized environments.
The renowned Jo Beau Drum Technology™ is found in all shredders and guarantees the simplest and most cost-effective way of shredding. The unique design ensures that both branches and greens are ergonomically pulled in, after which the wood chips are blown out in a powerful way. The chippers require no feed rollers or other systems. The Jo Beau Drum Technology™ means that the blade drum has three functions: the automatic intake of branches and green waste, the shredding itself, and the automatic ejection of the chips and green waste. Its main features are working speed, ergonomics, and minimum maintenance costs.
Recently, scarifiers, edge cutters and cable tractors, aerators, a seeder, sod cutter, leaf blower, rough terrain mower and a wood splitter have also joined the range. They are not only recognizable by their typical yellow "Jo Beau" color, but are also based on the same standards and principles the company applies to its winter products.
With the launch of the new Landscaper-Line™, Jo Beau is now resolutely positioning itself as a total partner for the green sector. Independent garden contractors as well as urban and municipal green spaces, rental companies and customization companies, at home and abroad, can now turn to one address for all their compact and professional garden machinery.
Meanwhile, the chippers and stump tillers received a facelift and further optimization. The "Next Generation" consists of four pillars.
Jo Beau strives to design and build its machines compactly for convenience during use. However, this must not come at the expense of the volume of branches and green waste that can be processed. So the machines remained as compact, but can now handle a larger volume.
The vast experience of users themselves was also taken into account during the design phase of the updated line of shredders. Almost all suggested improvements, such as sturdier construction, were implemented.
Far-reaching ergonomics for the user received much attention from the very beginning. The updated models continue this line. Not only in use, but also in transport.
All these points combined to bring the company's design into the 21st century. A sharp, tough and fresh look that should show that Jo Beau is ready for the future!
Christophe Beauprez, CEO Jo Beau: "In the meantime, of course, we are not standing still. We are in the development phase for a completely new model of tracked chopper. We will present that in the first half of 2022."
