The Modularis delivers significant time savings when preparing challenging sites for construction. Just ask the company Coenraerds from Arendonk, near the border with Tilburg. They recently added this polyvalent grab module to their site equipment. They already had a grab, but the versatility of Tramac Benelux's new solution now offers them a completely polyvalent solution. So for a small additional cost, the grab becomes multi-deployable across different construction sites.

All in one motion

Coenraerds had to prepare an industrial site in the Genk industrial zone for a new construction project. They could cut all the trees manually or automatically with the Modularis MD20. The choice was quickly made. With the MD 20 with log scales, the job could be done in one day. Thanks to the gripper module, the process took place in a smooth sequence of steps. The trees were cut and clamped in one motion. The gripper then laid them down or fed them directly into the chipper. 

In addition to the module with wood scales and sorting grab scales - which Coenraerds already has - ground scales can also be supplied for other construction applications. Additional scales cost on average only a quarter of the values of a complete machine. So you save 75 percent compared to buying a new machine, and you change the scales on the job in as little as five minutes.
