Over the past few years, a lot of hard work has gone into creating an individual identity for each company and a good mutual alignment of the product range. The result? De Pypere's products are aimed primarily at the vegetable garden enthusiast, while Polet's range is a bit more substantial and robust with tools for professional garden builders and contractors.
This merger caused Polet to exchange its East Flemish home base for a West Flemish office in the De Pypere buildings in 2021 after more than 150 years. Production and warehouse come together in a brand new additional company building in Ardooie. Technical knowledge and know-how are also being centralized in one place, which is crucial to remaining the number one in professional tools in the Benelux. The craftsmen of De Pypere and Polet can work together to perform their craft in the best conditions.
Not only as an artisan industrial manufacturer, Polet has grown tremendously over the past decades. In our country, the company also acts as an important local partner for foreign tool manufacturers who want to sell their products to Belgian garden centers and DIY stores. Manufacturers such as ARS, Red Gorilla and ROSTAING supply products that closely match the hand tools manufactured by Polet.
