Last day Green also great success with launch of Open Spaces

The corona years caused us to return more interest in our own environment, including our own gardens. With nearly 6,000 new independent garden contractors since the previous edition of the 2018 Green trade show, it is already a boost for the green sector. This was also reflected in the turnout during this new edition of Green. No fewer than 9,595 professional visitors gained inspiration during the Green trade fair at Flanders Expo in Ghent.

That it was already four years since Green, the biennial trade show for the private and public green sector, took place naturally had everything to do with the corona period. "But both the enthusiasm of our more than 200 exhibitors and the massive turnout of visitors clearly showed the hunger," said a satisfied Jeroen Arnouts, Head of Event of Easyfairs, organizer of the Green exhibition. "We are satisfied with this successful major celebration of the sector."

Among the 9,595 visitors, Bartel Van Riet was also present Monday to give the green sector a heart to heart. Bartel Van Riet: "My first impression is fantastic anyway. My greedy self comes to the surface and I want to look everywhere right away. Everything that sparks your interest is here under one roof. The horticultural sector can only continue to do one thing, and that is to innovate and keep reinventing itself."

On Tuesday, Green also packed out with the opening of an additional hall, Open Spaces, entirely dedicated to the creative and innovative design of public, open space. A success as this third day attracted 2,584 visitors to the Green trade fair. "The sector is flourishing and this was confirmed more than ever by this successful edition of Green," concludes Jeroen Arnouts, Head of Event of Easyfairs, organizer of the Green exhibition.
