Thanks to investments in research and innovation, Farmtrac succeeds in bringing to the market a comprehensive and qualitative range of compact tractors for the construction, maintenance and management of public areas and sports infrastructure. In addition to the successful FT25G, the company has now launched a second electric tractor: the FT25G HST. With this, both Farmtrac and Herco Machinery, the exclusive Benelux importer, signal their commitment to investing firmly in a CO₂-neutral future.

Both tractors excel for their quiet and emission-free operation, combining environmental friendliness with comfortable work. The electric motors are also powerful enough to handle just about any professional application. The battery is designed for a working time of up to 5 hours and can be charged via either a normal power connection or a quick charger. The FT25G, launched in 2019, is available now and first deliveries of the FT25G HST will normally be possible from November 2022.

HGO: 100% electric

Synthetic turf company HGO bv is also making efforts to mitigate climate change. 

“Switching to all-electric machinery requires a lot of research,” says Martijn Hartjes, founder of HGO. “In our search for a 100% electric, tow vehicle, we ended up with Farmtrac and distributor Herco Machinery. On top of its ample power, the FT25G has a small turning radius and allows us to maneuver faster and more efficiently. We are currently the only one in the European artificial turf sector with a fully electric fleet of machines. Farmtrac helps ensure that the transition to electric tractors remains affordable.”
