By also housing the distribution cell of Brachot Sud there, we promote and distribute the materials in Tarn and in other French and European natural stone throughout France, Europe and the world.

Granitarn centralizes the quarries of LS Granits, Carrières du Bousquet and Granit du Sidobre with the know-how in production and distribution of ADHL and Brachot Sud in Burlats, ago in the Sidobre, the region for granite companies specializing in the monument and paving sector. Here, on the one hand, we mine all types of Tarn granite - royal, fine grain and large grain - and on the other hand, we process and cut Tarn and other French natural stones. The products are blocks, slabs, tiles, cobblestones and other paving and outdoor materials such as coping stones, curbs, street furniture, and so on. They are produced from Burlats and distributed throughout France and around the world. 

Brachot Family Member

The focus on French granite and French natural stone frames the sustainable one-stop story for cladding and landscape materialsunder the banner of Brachot, to which Family Member Granitarn belongs. The term Family Member, by the way, was not chosen at random. Brachot is a company with solid family roots. Meanwhile, the fifth generation is at the helm under the leadership of Vinciane Vaernewyck and Dirk Van Overberghe and their three children Gilles, Lucas and Pauline. 

Together toward sustainable production

A sustainable update of the entire site on the program. In addition to the modernization of the machinery in the quarries, the first works on the new buildings started on the current site of Granit du Sidobre. Among other things, we foresee solar panels to generate our entire electricity consumption and produce as climate-neutral as possible.  

In addition to new offices, there will also be a brand new factory of 5,000 square meters for optimized production and distribution. Among other things, there is room for two new Multiwires, two Monowires on rail, two roller bridges, finishing machines, a water treatment plant, bridge saws, a tile and cobblestone production line, and so on. This will allow Granitarn to fully concentrate on the production of Tarn granite and other French natural stones for tiles and cobblestones, furniture and finishes for the paving sector, on the one hand, and blocks, slabs and tiles for indoor and outdoor applications, on the other. There will also be a record hall of 1,500 square feet, new offices and a repository outside of 5,000 square meters. In the autumn of 2021the entire facility must be operational.

Granitarn can move quickly, both in supply and production as in storage and distribution. For the latter, the distribution unit stands Brachot Sud in. They are also moving to Burlats this year and will take Tarn and other European natural stone around the world. promote and distribute.
