This is also made possible by the close collaboration under the shared name of Brachot. A name known in the wider sector as specialist in natural stone and composite materials with more than 120 years of experience. Brachot gives advice to professionals and their customers in the Stone Gallery in Deinze or in the showrooms with outdoor park in Harelbeke and Bruges.

World-class in natural stone - optimal vertical integration

Brachot controls the entire process: from the extraction of its own materials over the sawing and processing of natural stone to the distribution of blocks, slabs, tiles and projects in natural and composite materials. Natural stone is quarried in part from Brachot Family Members' own quarries. Kilkenny Limestone for Irish bluestone, and the Granitarn, Larvik Granite and Cameleon granite quarries. These Family Members are spread worldwide, each with their own identity, yet united in the same values of sustainability, innovation and honesty. And last but not least, there is Family Member stoneasy.com, the online wholesaler for garden and ornamental paving.

Sustainability, now and in the future

Natural stone is a particularly durable material because the one hundred percent natural product is mined directly from the soil. Moreover, natural stone lasts for centuries. Natural stone contains no harmful substances and is completely recyclable: it thus fits completely into a sustainable, circular economy.

Brachot continues to innovate continuously for sustainable and optimal extraction, production and distribution. Several of Brachot's sites are already fully powered by solar panels. Water is recycled rather than extracted from nature. Having its own quarries in Europe and relying on European materials also reduces CO2 emissions from transport. Brachot also has an eye for innovation in its machinery to continually optimize the production process.
Finally, digitization is also playing an ever-growing role. Investments in optimization, development, automation and digitalization at the various locations are adding strength to the vision of the future in which Brachot aims to produce valuable, sustainable materials that create added value.
