[00:02] I’m Kevin Dedene from FIRMA BEEL. I represent the complete professional product range, including solutions for football pitch maintenance, where Belrobotics plays a major role.
[00:14] At the beginning of last year, we started a full-scale demonstration here. The robotic mower remained in operation for an entire year because the club wanted to experience first-hand how the system performed and how reliable it was.
[00:33] After that year, it became clear that the product was simply best in class, which led to the decision to purchase it.
[00:46] The club deliberately chose a Belgian product because it wanted to support regional suppliers. The quality also proved to be superior to other robotic mowing brands, which is why the tender specification ultimately focused exclusively on a Belrobotics solution.
[01:04] Initially, the greenkeepers were concerned about the quality of the mowing pattern. However, after the demonstration they were pleasantly surprised and immediately recognised its value. The turf structure has remained excellent, while the grass now requires significantly less fertiliser than before.
[01:04] Only lime applications are still necessary, but overall fertiliser use has decreased considerably compared with previous years.
